MMEE LECTURERS PROVIDES COMMUNITY SERVICE TRAINING TO 145 CPNS UNY

Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University, Dr. Ir. Sutopo, M.T, Aan Ardian, M.Pd., and Paryanto, M.Pd., were the speakers at the 2019 Community Service Proposal (PPM) Training at the LPPMP Building, Yogyakarta State University. This training was attended by lecturers of Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) Yogyakarta State University.

This training is carried out with the aim that this year's CPNS lecturers will be more enthusiastic in submitting PPM proposals as one of the Tridharma of Higher Education tasks. Dr. Ir. Sutopo, MT, said that "community service is one of the duties of lecturers as contained in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, so the lecturer directly should carry it out as a form of implementing knowledge for the benefit of the community so that this training is very suitable if given to new lecturers as capital in making the PPM proposal later." This training discussed various forms of proposals in various systems, one of which was the simlitabmas system and downloading templates and adjusting content. The provision of material accompanied by concrete examples of proposals that have been funded is an effective trick in providing an overview for CPNS lecturers regarding the PPM Proposal.

Paryanto, M.Pd., recounted that "for years he had struggled with the PPM world, the key to the success of the PPM proposal being funded was problem-based, multidimensional in science and because as a lecturer in engineering, it was by the technology needed and its usefulness. If all of the components are complete, then the percentage of qualifying for funding will be higher.
