The Master's Degree Mechanical Engineering Education study program was held based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 360/E/O/2014, on 27 August 2014. The objectives of the Master's Degree Mechanical Engineering Education program were determined based on the formulation of the vision and mission of UNY and the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework level 8 and Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education. The setting of program objectives involving stakeholders includes:  
  1. Educational institutions.
  2. Representatives of the S1 Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Semarang State University, and Sebelas Maret University, the business and industrial world, professional organizations: Association of Indonesian Vocational Lecturers and Teachers (ADGVI), Indonesian Association of Technical and Vocational Education (APTEKINDO), Postgraduate Program Leadership Forum (FORPIMPAS ), and alumni.
